MiBox IPTV sports not smooth

by abmantis

The image is not smooth at all, and seem to drag. This is very noticeable in sports. I've found more people complaining about this problem, so I guess there's nothing I can do to fix it, right?

What is the alternative? The Shield is usually recommended, but it is too expensive for me.

It will not be your device. Don’t waste your money on a shield as it won’t make any difference. The drag is caused by the iptv provider transmitting the channels at 25 frames per second. This is more noticeable in fast moving scenes.

Price of the MiBox plus what an alternative box cost, pretty close to price of a shield.

Are you hardwired? Did you run a speed test? Are you using a paid service? There can be a lot of factors that are causing lag

It's not the box! It's either your provider or the app you choose to use. I have 6 boxes and they all do iptv great and wireless.

What iptv service are you using when this happens. Does it happen with other videos like YouTube, Netflix. How are you connected WiFi or ethernet. What resolution is your TV and what resolution is the Mi Box set to. What is your internet speed.

If YOU SURE IT'S THE BOX and you can't afford Shield I have a Mi Box S and it works great with my iptv services and one that specialize in sports but if you don't want another Mi Box. Get this it's cheap and good specs ugly clutter home screen

If only mibox had auto switch frame rate.... I hope they’re working on it

Is not only you. I'm in spain with BiloIPTV and sports are being seen in MiBox like a real shit. Isn't smooth. I have a Minix U1 and is pretty much better, but is not Android TV OS. I would like to know if Mi Box S has the same trouble...
