In previous posts people stated that the Voice Search is working now like on Marshmallow. I couldn't test it because home and mic button on my remote were unresponsive due to another bug on Oreo. Yesterday I did a factory reset, which fixed buttons on remote, but from what I see the mic button still open Google Assistant, not the in app search like on Marshmallow.
So my question is: is it just on my MiBox? or maybe they still didn't fix it?
That issue I observed, according to my observation issue is with using 2.4ghz with wifi and Bluetooth, a small interference is happening with this for mi box :(
Still, not solved., if you use Bluetooth speaker with mi box then interference is very much more and drops with wifi, Bluetooth signal even voice remote does not detect voice properly.
Tested with 5 ghz and then voice search, then voice detection is very much good.
I don't know how to solve this interference issues :( any suggestions?
In my whole home no device has these interference only mi box, tried changing wifi channels but still some issue.
Can't use 5 ghz because signal level not more as mi box also doesn't has external antenna
