I've just bought a Fire stick 4k, intending to use the remote with my Shield TV.

Works great, except voice button triggers assistant but cannot pick up any sound. Same issue as others have reported.

Anyone solved this definitively? If not, can anyone recommend a distance microphone that would work well left plugged in to the Shield unit?
