Ematic Jetstream, Youtube TV 60fps and 1080i issues

Just a heads up for anyone on the fence about this device.

Youtube TV is capped at 30fps. Hold off until if/when Google whitelists the device.

Casting Youtube TV from a phone/tablet, also capped 30fps.

Live Channels doesn't handle 1080i (interlaced) channels (via tvheadend server app and also hdhomerun app) very well. Ie, scrolling horizontal tickers jerky.

Kodi doesn't handle 1080i (interlaced) mpeg-2 streams very well either. Ie, scrolling horizontal tickers jerky.

Otherwise, the box is pretty good. Responsive and handles progressive content without problems.

So that confirms full motion deinterlacing still has not been fixed by AMLogic for use with Broadcast TV with Oreo 8.1 Firmware.

Same problem with AMLogic devices since 2016 unfortunately.

YoutubeTV and Youtube apps on the jetstream showing 60fps.

Casting via ipad still capped at 30fps, compared to 60fps casting to a chromecast ultra.
