Do they put "wake up problems" with every beta build?
Can someone sniff the zip file? Could it be installed from 2396?
God if this was a stable update.... I have those exact 2 problems
This build contains some bug fixes and improvements.....but.... 1 WiFi sometimes disconnects 2 wake up problems 😀
Also acv1 encoded videos on YouTube freeze the whole system.
It needs unplug then. After the video plays flawlessly. 4k at 60Hz vp9 and avc1 videos play without single dropped frame. Well done.
Please work with Google because it's annoying.

It's rare but it happens every time when you watch a vp9 video and it follows an avc1 video. Thanks.
How to get beta build?
I was a beta test user but I didn't receive this update. Was I removed? SN:13878580034311
When is there going to be an update to solve sound issues?
Does anybody else have problems with remote mic being disabled? I have this problem since 3 builds ago. Tried everything. Mic through android tv app works just fine.
Hope it's better than 2396. Lost 4k in all apps once that build was installed. Drm info still shows HDCP 2.2 and L1. Display settings are 4k2k 30 hz and 10 bit color.
Been testing this 2415 over the last few days:
- wake up from extended sleep now works reliably. 1 Power Button press to wake the remote from it's battery saving slumber, the next turned the Mi Box on properly.
- my Ugreen USB3 > Gigabit ethernet adapter now works properly after waking up from sleep as well.
- WiFi seems the same, I've have no dropouts.
So there is at least some progress..
However Netflix playback:
- what a mess. It's the worst jittery, stuttering playback of any Netflix capable media player I have, which includes the App on a 4K Smart TV, dirt cheap Android TV Nougat - Mecool box and an Apple TV.
- 5.1 Netflix audio still results in audio dropouts too.
- I'm starting to think the Netflix App might be a bit crap as well, same issues after I rolled back App updates.
Even Kodi Leia with it's Netflix Addon results in much smoother video playback and no 5.1 DD+ audio dropouts.
There is still No SPDIF option in Android audio settings, to switch audio output to that service.
This is a must have option IMHO on any SPDIF capable media player. Xiaomi need to add it.
It's better than it was but still far from good. The wake up issue is still three. It seems to apear not so often. But once, twice during week the power has to be cut off because MiBox is not responding at all. At least you will wake up the device after time but it will stay flaky and wifi will not work properly and u will be pushed to reboot MiBox or you will die on pain.
Unfortunately after few days and one factory reset box is flaky after long standby time. Box wakes up properly but moving up and down though menu gives you a headache. It's so laggy. WiFi disconnects dramaticly.

I didnt want to make a new thread over this related question: Does anyone know where I can get the latest official / stable (non-beta) firmware for the Mi Box?
