I plan on getting the mi box s. It fits my budget and I find Xiaomi more trustable than Jetstream.
Was wondering if the box which is bought in America, functions perfectly overseas.
Also, does Netflix come pre installed? As several Android TVs by Xiaomi can't seem to download Netflix from the playstore in India neither can it be sideloaded. I plan to sidelaod Amazon prime video which seems to be possible.
Just be sure your connected screen supports the proper DRM features required by Netflix.
Also, device has US power plug.
I imported the Mi Box here, netflix works fine, it was preloaded.
Prime video can be sideloaded, just see about the plug type.
I have both, a total of 3 miboxes and 2 Jetstream boxes. Functionality is pretty much identical. I do however use the Jetstream boxes on Ethernet hard wire. I prefer the Jetstream because the built in Ethernet port.
Bought Mi box 3 a week before. Everything is fine, only problem is I am not able to get 5.1 sound out of amazon prime.
Did the same, works well, make sure you install the 2 updates. The new update removed the WiFi disconnecting issues.
Can I install Jio TV & Jio Cinema from playstore? Or need to sideload, Does sideloading works?
