Got a google home mini recently and have been using to ask it to play Netflix shows on TV. Now when I ask it says alright playing x and then says sorry I can't play Netflix content on Android TV yet, but it's streamed Netflix content before no problem. Any help?
Never has worked for me either. I thought there was an update earlier this month where this exact thing would be supported...?
It worked for me when I plugged it and tested it for the first time, Netflix was working on my MiBox but YouTube wasn’t. Then the google home mini updated itself and Netflix stopped working but now YouTube works. Guess we will have to wait for the next update?
Screw this. From what I hear, the MiBox S is google compliant. It even has a dedicated google assistant built-in. Why the hell can't it just open and play videos on youtube using a simple comand to google home, simply blows my mind.
A day or two ago it was even able to wake the MiBox from stand-by. Tonight it couldn't. What is happening, why can't it just work as it sais on the box?
I feel like going off the grid with the Hassio and RaspberryPi is starting to make sense if humongous software companies like Google can't get their shit together.
I don't think it has ever worked on mibox but does on a real chromecast device.
