Wondering which Apps or tech is being used on these TV Boxes...

Hi

I'm from Argentina and have noticed the arising (in sales, popularity) of some Android boxes that allows buyers to ditch cable services, DirecTV, etc.

I couldn't get my hands on one, because I've already a NVidia Shield, but heard that it has Android and when boots it gets the channel list updated, etc.

Which Apps do these boxes use? Could I do something similar with my NVidia Shield? The software seems to be in Portuguese

you can do something similar with the perfect player app and some IPTV lists on the internet

It's an IPTV service pre-loaded on that device.

You don't need a box configured only as IPTV, any box can do it. The thing is you need a IPTV list free on the inter ir someone who sells it

This is the one I buy from and is Latin oriented, it also has some international but it has more Latino/Mexico channels. Also some Fox sports and ESPN from other countries Argentina included
