HBO GO for AndroidTV in EU region

Not for US region, they have different App. This is about those EU countries whose are listed here: http://hbogo.eu/

New Android TV app popped up in play store, but currently no device is allowed to install it:

Screenshots are looking completely different from the old, leaked 0.0.59 eu.hbogo.androidtv.5 version.

Lets hope for the best. LG webos devices also go update (icon with dark background), so they are able to log in with direct HBO GO subsctiption, not just with accounts from cable providers.

It's available in Nordic countries and Spain now, targets 8.0 and up.

yes, looks like current smart tv/ps4 app(I think it's a web wrapper)

EDIT: under permission:

  • read TV channel/program information
  • write TV channel/program information

if I am not mistaken, eariler version was 5.8.5, now it says 5.9. hopefully it will rollout soon to Mi Box...

So the support was true and they have an app ready for release. Yet it seems not being downloadable - if anyone manages to get a copy please do share.

just noticed that in URL it says production so it's possible it's not finished yet and we'll have to wait for some time, but at least now we know it's coming

just installed HBO GO on Shield TV for GOT,

always got playback error 5.1.

does anyone knows the reason?
