Hello. I want to buy a new android tv. I used to have the xiaomi mi box and for the past week's she's running very slow i can't use it anymore. I asking for your help what should i buy, what's a good soluction i use it for streaming movies series and live tv. Thanks for all your help time .
Nvidia shield
The Xiaomi Mi Box is really great for the price, not as powerful as the Nvidia Shield tho, but I don't play on it so it's ok 👌
I've owned two high-end Bravias and both have been disappointing in terms of performance. No TV that costs 2 grand should require reboots to solve continually dropped frames and stutters in streaming apps.
Buy a dumb TV and a Shield. It's what I should have done after the first Bravia died.

Nvidia Shield, have 2 of them and they have never let me down.
I've noticed that Xiaomi Box runs so hot, I put a laptop pad under the Xiaomi and it has been running fast for months to me.
Even with the cooling pad, it runs at 42c, without it, it runs at 65c. More heat means throttle, so it runs slow.
This Xiaomi Box has bad thermal management, it runs so hot, it can damage internals, so I recommend a cooling pad for it.
Did you try resetting the mi box?
Shield would be the only thing faster than the MiBox, right now you might still be able to buy it on discount ($130-150).
Running slow, check you have enough storage space left. Low storage will definitely slow down Android TV devices.
