I have the Jetstream AGT418 but I find the remote less than satisfactory. I like the dedicated volume button, but it lacks the [back] [play] [forward] buttons that in my opinion, you need in a remote. I understand that the circular button is supposed to work that way but in practice, it's not convenient. Does anyone know of a google assistant compatible remote that has volume, play control, Android navigation, and the circle buttons? If it had a programmable IR to turn the AGT418 on and off too that would be amazing but I'm not holding my breath. The FireStick 2 voice remote is almost exactly what I want but I doubt the microphone would work with Google Assistant when paired to the AGT418. But I could be wrong, does anyone know for sure?
Firetv remote with the dedicated volume/power buttons work fine on the Shield for voice, I’d assume they’d work on other official devices with Bluetooth as well.
