3 days ago, my Mi Box 3S unfortunately auto-updating to latest Oreo firmware.
Unfortunately because it brings unwanted problem with the wifi connection.
Long story short, after numerous tips, formatting and tinkering, the wifi problem was solved.
And low storage notification keeps bugging me. It seems that the default app installed altogether with the Oreo fills up the tiny storage. I can't even install all necessary updates, let alone install my preferred apps.
After spending several hours trying to disable unneeded apps, I think I found the problem.
5.6GB are the storage remaining.
Only 233MB available to use.
The Chromecast app was gobbling a massive 4.19GB on it's own.
So I proceed to clear the data and cache, gaining myself back a big portion of storage. And I disabled the Chromecast app. Won't be using it and will see how it goes.
Did you totally reset your Mibox after the update?
