Does anyone know if this Ethernet to USB adapter would work on the MiBox?

Sure, why not.

I've used Ugreen on my switch and other devices with success

Most people, myself included buy the Ugreen USB3> Gigabit adapters because the ASIX chipset in them work with the Mi Box.

The Anker tech branded ones use a Realtek Chipset. Not sure if it is compatible.

Test it for everyone else.

Give it a shot, should still be better than wifi. And at some point was fixing sleep bugs.

Try googling the model number if you haven’t.

Whether it will work better on not depends on your wifi, but I’m sure it will. If you have a proper 5GHz AC WiFi which is stable then it’s not certain you’ll experience it to be faster or more reliable, but if you are experiencing dropouts/lag I would definately go with ethernet.

Read this comment . Anything with the ASIX AX88179 chipset will work.

I'm not sure about this one in particular, but I bought one that also works as a USB hub and the MiBox uses it both as an ethernet port and as a hub. The internet is significantly better over this dongle (~50MBs) then over the WiFi (8MBs).

Android has drivers for pretty much anything so it's worth a shot
