Hi guys. I have a xiaomi mibox 4k and I bought a toslink-minitoslink cable for my soundbar. I connect the hdmi to my tv and toslink to my soundbar but nothing happens. I need to activate something ?. In audio output i have checked "auto"

The Mi Box's Oreo Android Audio settings is missing a SPDIF audio output option, that was present on previous versions of it's Android OS.
Also...
Unless your HDMI connected audio receiver is DD+ capable expect 2.0 PCM audio from the Mi Box with DD+ Apps like Netflix & others.
Even if you manage to get that going, there will likely be 5.1 audio dropouts due to bugs in the Mi Box Firmware.
Blame Xiaomi for all this mess. The Mi Box is really poor when it comes to Dolby audio support.
