My ISP is blocking Netflix, so I try sideload 1.1.1.1 DNS to my Mi Box 3. With the DNS turned on I can sign in to my Netflix account and choose profile but when playing the contents the loading screen always end at 24% then “we’re having trouble playing this title right now. Please try again later or select different title” appear with error: tvq-pm-100 (3.1.-57).
Does anyone know what happens?
The 1.1.1.1 DNS works perfectly to play netflix on my phone with the same ISP
Have you tried force closing Netflix and clearing cache (not data) in the system settings and then restarting the mi box?
Have a mi box and a shield tv and Netflix will do this to me every once in awhile until I do everything above. Don't know what the cause is and I don't know if it will fix the problem you are having but it's worth giving it a shot.
1.1 1.1 on mi box doesn't work properly, especially on Oreo, as the OS stops the service after a few minutes. I tried set it up manually but doesn't work either, I'm sure it has something to do with the ISP (Indihome?).
The best you can do is with VPN
Just to know, why would your Isp blocks Netflix? Which country?
Go to wifi settings.. Click manual setting.. So, you can enter static IP on your android tv device, there also you will have options for Dns, try to change it.. And also if possible change from the router side, so all devices will be having the same cloudflare 1.1.1.1 dns
If it doesn't work, the only way is to use a VPN..
