For Those That Need Private Listening

I'm married with two young kids and want a way to quietly watch shows/movies some nights, and sometimes with my wife.

I've tried bluetooth speakers with an audio out https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B074KJ6JQW?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title

But recently got an echo dot for $2 during their sale and like it quite a lot. We have a cable with a splitter and both connect our headphones. It works great, having voice control to connect/disconnect to/from the mibox, and takes up very little space.

I had no idea it had a headphone jack on it. Good to know. We use an Anker Bluetooth speaker so the sound is closer to us from the bedroom TV, and we can listen aloud of only one of us is sleeping. We also use our headsets for individual listening. Yours is a good solution for two pairs of headphones.

I use my Bose QC35 connected via Bluetooth. Works great.

So the doc can operate the mibox (play Rudy from kodi?) And then you hook headphones to the dot?

I use a Creative E3. It connects through Bluetooth and can output to 2 headphones. It also supports high end headphones that have a higher impedance.

My 2015 remote has the headphone jack. Gamepad does too. Love my Shield!
