Still no Oreo update notification on MiBox 3

I was using the MiBox for the past year and I went on vacation for a few months and I've recently started using it again. I heard they were releasing OTA updates to Oreo finally. I haven't received any notifications for the last month. Is there some way to manually check for the update? Or should I hold off on the update?

If your satisfied with the performance of your box, then hold off till all the bugs get ironed out.

If not then power the box off and on and press the update button a couple of times and see if an update shows up.

I wish I had your delay. :D this Oreo ruined the otherwise decent and cheap box... maybe a good idea is to learn how to forbid the update.

Consider yourself lucky, the Oreo is broken for a lot of people and we can't get rid of it and go back.
