Looking for a way to turn on my remote or controller without physical access for voice searches

I use 3rd party remotes but keep the OEMs near me for voice searches. It would be nice to be able to wake the remote up when needed via click of a button on my daily remote, rather than physically access it or leave it always listening.

Any ideas? Wonder if there's an app that will allow me to turn it on.

Not to make you buy another device, but would a google home or alexa device work?

It's not dependable but if make sure to wake the shield remote or controller it works.
