[X/POST r/MiBox] Has anyone been successful at getting a USB Ethernet adapter to work on the new Mi Box S?

by dosangst

I've tried 5 different devices (USB 2 and 3), and though they light and show network activity, it never appears under settings; all but one of these devices work fine with the original Mi Box.

Anyone else have better luck?

MiBox Sub suggests x-posting to AndroidTV, why the down votes?

"Hello /u/dosangst -

Thank you for your submission in /r/MiBox.

We hope you are able to get the information or feedback you're looking for. However, honestly this sub has never really only recently taken off. By the time the current mod team took over the sub, the MiBox conversations had been firmly established over at /r/AndroidTV/. For good measure, we recommend you search for your specific issue at /r/AndroidTV/, and xpost your submission over there; it couldn't hurt. Meanwhile, hold tight. One of our over 300 750 subscribers might chime in soon with something helpful for you.

Best of luck.
