Help choosing an Android TV Box!

by aDankSpank

Hey all,

I am looking for an Android TV box that will allow me to easily change my default launcher and work with the remote's home button and that will allow me to install apps like Netflix and YouTube (but not the touch screen varients of these apps but rather a version where you can actually see where you are navigating!)

Any ideas? I'm looking for something relatively cheap, it doesn't need to be branded. Just as long as it can fullfil those requirements. Thanks!

No need to change the default launcher. I'm sure once you use the stock one you'll see that it opens your apps just fine.

You want a MiBox S .

If you are in the USA the Android TV Oreo - Jetstream 4k Ultra HD already has Netflix, YouTube and Google Play buttons on it's Wireless remote.

Make it damn easy to launch those Apps then:

Android TV Oreo is customisable too to reduce "clutter"

You can remove really anything not needed from the home screen and just have what you need.
