Try to power off both tv and box for few minutes. If you have any other device connected over hdmi between box and tv, try it without that device.
I find that if you disable updates on the Netflix app it will work for awhile. Repeat if it acts up again
if it says unsupported then it is a faulty device, you need to return it and ask for a replacement, it is a common issue on this device (not hardware signed).
I had this problem when I bought my 2 miboxes , one was working flawless and the other one gave me the same message, contacted the seller, he contacted xiaomi, xiaomi asked him to replace my device and he got a refund.
Missing from this story..... Tell us about your TV, make and model. Do the specs mention HDCP and Hdmi 1.4?
