I have a philips 50put6102. When i play netflix through the local app it gives me 4k. But when I try to play netflix through my mibox 3 i don't get a UHD/4k option. Max it shows is HD. I even tried to forcefully change the resolution to 4k2k@60Hz.
When i ask the mibox to set resolution automatically it turns to 720p@60Hz.
I was under the impression that HDMI port 3 &4 can handle the higher resolutions.
Have you tried a speed test with Netflix on both mibox and your TV? You may be surprised.
Is the mibox connected to the Philips?
Same here. I have a 4k LG tv. Native Netflix app works but in mi box s dont. Plus Native LG netfilx app work 5.1 in mi box dont... Any suggestion?
I was having this issue with Netflix on my LG...it was only set at 1080 and I had to change mine my 4k 60hz...that doesn't stick for you?
Remove ES File Explorer if you have it. It's known to cause said problems
