"SHIELD Experience upgrade 7.2.1 is a minor update addressing a few issues that have come up from the previous upgrade.

Bug Fixes • [EU] Resolves 5GHz Wi-Fi connection issues for SHIELD TV 2015 and SHIELD Pro models • Resolves port blocking issue with SmartThings on SHIELD • Fixes issues some issues where USB storage is not detected on active hubs • Removes erroneous error message when cancelling NAS connection attempt • Removes warning displayed incorrectly when connecting SHIELD TV mobile app to SHIELD

Known Issues • PS3 controllers not currently supported over wireless • Some issues playing .ts video files • Connection from PC to SHIELD folders limited to SMBv1 • Rare cases where system seems to hang on startup • "Full" dynamic range setting not working as expected (available under Display options when color mode is set to RGB) • Occasional audio loss on Kodi/SPMC, MrMC during HDMI hotplug • Issue with PUBG Mobile mouse accuracy • Color display accuracy issues on Chrome • Issue getting correct installation build on rooted/unclocked devices. Enable “Provide full system upgrades” in developer settings. • [SHIELD 2015 and SHIELD Pro] SD Card not recognized after 7.2 upgrade • Connection issues when mounting NAS to SHIELD • Rare occurrence where Hauppauge tuners would not be seen • Some 3rd party game controllers not functioning properly

both of my Shields have this freezing issue with NBA League pass but Mibox is ok . hopefully it fixes it

CEC functionality on shield TV don't triger tv some times and if it did it will take some time.

I updated from 7.1 to this, only issue I had was the gamepad being not recognized (the battery bug), and I'm happy to report it's now fixed.

After update My external Flashdrive was corrupted or formatted by a bug or by chance .

My system was installed on that drive so of course I lost all my apps Data and apks :( anyone else effected ?

Only solution I can see is to remove flashdrive from shield by clicking format and re settings the Drive .

This update seemed to screw up HDMI-CEC for me. It was working perfectly, now it will sometimes turn on or off my TV, and take forever to turn on my receiver.

Oh no! My Nvidia Shield Pro won't boot any more. I just get the Nvidia logo and it never gets to the Google logo. I tend to update it whenever it notifies me of a new update so it was updated 7.2.0.

I ended up factory resetting it, re-setting my accounts/apps up again and then I saw the update to 7.2.1, so I did that. It updated fine. That evening I turned off the device and now today it won't boot up again.

I don't want to have to go through resetting it again, especially if this issue hasn't been fixed yet.

I'm no expert at this stuff. What should I do?

WiFi speeds are very slow for me after this update, getting 5-6 up/down vs my other devices getting 100/100

Wonder if voice search with the new FireTV stick 4K remote is fixed?
