To bad someone couldn't design a Hub that worked with the xiaomi mi box s .
Shame on Xiaomi for not designing the S with an Ethernet port and usb C for power and usb 3.0 :(

That is why they are at that price point versus say Nvidia Shield @ $179
I've only had the Mi Box S for about a week now, from Wall-Mart for $40. At that price point it's actually a pretty terrific box. I'm still playing aro9nd with Kodi and the apps but overall I'm not completely disappointed like everyone else here seems to be.
But yeah, they really shorted it by not making the one port USB3 instead of USB2. I don't have the foggiest why they would do that. It can't really amount to much of a difference in manufacturing price.
Just so you know I do have an Nvidia shield TV I just purchased the mi box s an an experiment . Just something to play around with.
Lol you're lucky if you don't have to unplug this crappy box from the wall everytime you want it to wake from sleep.
What are you expecting for $60? Mi Box S is a pretty great box for the price. If you want all the bells and whistles pay for it and get a Shield TV, they've been on sale a lot lately in the $120-140 range.
