USB not connected on my Shield

So I’ve had this Shield for 6 months and today, the “cannot find USB drive” bubble popped up while I was using ES. I unplugged it and plugged it back it but nothing. When I go into the menu it has the USB name but says it is not connected. Restarted the unit but nothing. Any ideas?

Make sure in storage settings you don't have the box checked for connect to a computer.

ES is the devil, Bobby Boucher...

I used to love their stuff, then it got overly stuffed with garbage I didn't need. I tried it on my Shield and when it unmounted my USB drive, back in the trash it went.
