Amazon Prime on a MiBox 3 (running Android 8)?

So I grabbed the APK from this thread , and installed it on my MiBox. It runs, I can sign in and watch previews, but any actually prime content just kicks up an error message saying:

"We're unable to play your video at this time. Please try again in a few minutes or contact...."

Any suggestions on what might be going on here?

You'll have to factory reset your box first then install it. Had to do it to all my 6 boxes originally.

I use this version, works perfectly on my MiBox.

Try older apk. I can't find reddit thread for it.
