Jetstream does everything smoother so far, YouTube goes straight to high resolution, remote is beefier, sound is better, and it has two USB ports. I couldn't afford the Shield but this is working well so far. If you liked the mid range sector of ATV and your Mibox died I don't think you can go wrong with a Jetstream.
def. shouldn't be overlooked. i've had one for two months and i've literally had zero issues with it. hdhomerun, live channels. NAS Synology, etc not a hiccup!
How does Jetstream handle casting? Especially Netflix? Does it work the same way as Chromecast?
Does the Jetstream has adaptive framerate like the Shield?

I got a Shield for Christmas to replace the gimped ass Mi Box. I gotta say, I never realized how slow the Mi Box was at everything. Even just opening Plex and clicking around inside the app is insanely fast on the Shield. Yes, of course there is a price difference and you get what you pay for, but I was still surprised. Oh, and it always wakes up from sleep mode no problem. Something the Mi Box has failed to do ever since the Oreo update.
