I started using gamestream again on my shield and my pc is locked. This wouldn't be an issue however my controller stopped working on the lock screen ( i can't input password). As soon as i login locally it's fine however the pc is in another room.
I used to have a powershell script i log in and run to unlock it through teamviewer but looks like i lost it.
side note: super annoying the title capitalizes the first character of every word in the browser.
Chrome remote desktop plugin. Add the plugin to chrome browser and the app to an android device. PC needs to be awake but it will work even on the lock screen to type in password. Do it all the time.
I have a Bluetooth keyboard with a built in touch pad. I also added mstsc.exe as a streamable "game" which acts as a remote desktop when I want to just do that. I find I almost never use the keyboard except to log in. I also reduced my screen auto lock time to 4 hours so I have to do it less often.
