Great idea, the name is terrible however.

You guys are so much more than other apps you've named yourself like. The branding needs a ton of work.

That said, just about every channel I try to stream tells me it's not allowed. I get that it's prolly because of my provider, but I shouldn't be seeing those channels if I can't watch them.

Since I'm not going to individually try 70+ channels and keep a running memory of what works or write down a list, I'm going to check back in the future and see how it's coming along.

Is there a cost associated with the Cloud DVR? Is local file recording supported? Can you download files from the Cloud DVR? Are these DRM free recordings?

How are you able to pull access to this content? Are the content providers onboard? Or is this service more like PlayOn ?

I'm a little confused. So I have DirecTV, this means my Shield can work like a receiver? What resolution and sound do these streams run at?

wow, looks great. I have honestly wished someone would come up with this sort of app, instead of me having to use individual apps. :D I don't actually watch a lot of cable tv in my home, and its not worth me paying for it.. i'd rather do without, but I use my mom's account to watch a few channels now and then, and in turn I pay for her cell phone bill. :D

Cool program. Any plans to integrate the live feeds with the live channels app?

For me, it pulled in the wrong channels for YouTube TV. Some channels aren't even offered (comedy central) and some that are the wrong region (NBC sports, I forget what region but not Chicago which is mine) - any way I can help debug / diagnose that to get it fixed?

This is kind of amazing. Can you support multiple provider logins? I have both sling and directv-now. Most channels overlap but some channels are only on one of the other.

Will the DVR play protected channels like HBO or FX of FiOS?

Are the DVR recordings actually recording or are they accessing on demand with unskippable commercials like YouTube TV.

If it's actually recording, is commercial skipping with i.e. comskip possible?

I tried this briefly on my shield and found it odd that it was the live TV interface but not in the live TV app. Any chance of exposing it via the native live channels app?

Using Philo the favorites feature doesn't work for me - it scans all the channels but then when I go to favorites it still shows a bunch of channels that are not part of my service

Anyone able to get this to work on the nvidia shield? I tried linking my spectrum account but kept saying incorrect login details. I closed the app, cleared cache and data and now when I open it goes to the first page with the logo and the spinner shows but it never goes to the next step to choose my provider.

Why is this app unavailable in India?

Unfortunately all the channels from my provider are encrypted pretty much - they only allow to watch them through their own provided box that sucks (1080p no wifi etc) and their own UI/software.

And unfortunately there is nothing watchable in the "free channel" list. Just a lot of commercial, news and other crap channels.

If I understand this right, I can sign in with my Comcast/Xfinity account and stream my cable channels on my Android TV box? I know you're aiming for your own DVR service, but is it possible in the future to access our local cable DVR from this as well?

U/fitznd I'm experiencing something odd. When I try to stream Comedy Central or MTV (probably other channels owned by the same network), I get an error that those channels aren't included in my plan or something like that. But I do get them and can stream them from the Xfinity Stream app just fine. Any thoughts?

I spent all day fighting with a digital antenna and Live Channels. Was about to give up when I discovered Fitzy from this post. Best app ever!!! it also introduced me to locast.org which completely eliminated my need for a digital antenna.

Is there a way to get the guide in full-screen mode? I use Android TV and the blue menu to the left stays there no matter what. Would be nice if that went away so I could just see the channel guide.

Hi, I have a mecool Android streaming box, says it runs Android 7.1 OS. Should that be compatible with Fitzy? When I try to get it form the store, I get the message that the device is not compatible. Thanks

In Los Angeles almost all channels have DRM (spectrum a.k.a time Warner) does this work even with DRM channels?
