Sounds like it would be cheaper to buy a 7.1 surround sound system and have it professionally installed.
I think I would rather have a Shield TV and a separate "dumb" soundbar instead. Especially at that price if you include the sub of the JBL. Speakers can last for years but if you tie it with Android TV, I think you'll be lucky to get 4 or 5 years or of it before it gets replaced. My old soundbar is 8 Year's old now and still going just fine.

Does anyone know if this is 4K capable and whether or not it has a remote? Love my shield but the idea of having an all in one for another room in the house is enticing.
So i'm guessing it won't have a standard sub RCA output plug if they are selling that sub for so much. Yeah I'll pass on this one.

And I just want a soundbar with Google Assistant built in to fit under my current TV. That's all. It's crazy that no one has one for sale yet (I know LG just announced one over CES).
