Netflix is not working with Android TV

by RyanGamingXbox

My TV had Android TV so I downloaded Netflix from the Google Play Store. Everything else worked. The only thing with a problem when I tried to watch Netflix was it had an error saying "This account can not be used on this device" I searched the error code and it did not help.

Please help me. Everything else works even YouTube.

Also error code is tvq-pb-103 (1.10.5003)

While Netflix Help is reporting error 'Your account is on hold because of a problem with your last payment.' instead

My dad's Mi Box works perfectly for a Mi Box

Your TV is not certified by Netflix. The same thing happened with a lot of Mecool TV Boxes. Your only options are to buy sheild TV, FireStick or mitv box.

Seems as your TV doesn't have Widevine DRM embedded.

How many people you have using the same account?

I've found that Netflix version 4.16 is the stablest on Android TV. https://help.netflix.com/en/node/57688

You should probably get a streaming device such as a Firestick 4K that supports Netflix. They are cheap and much more functional than any smart TV.
