Create homescreen shortcut for Sideloaded apps

Hey guys,

New here to the android tv box world. So I am trying to get a sideloaded app show on my main home screen of my launcher. I dont want to use apps like sideload launcher because I would love to just have the app icon show up on its own. I have already tried TV app repo and even this application doesnt find/recognize the app I am trying to make my shortcut for. I dont know how to use the online apk makers, so if anybody has a solution or instructions on how to use the online tool please let me know!

I use HALauncher , which lets you add lists of non-Android TV apps as homescreen channels.

There are a few free launchers in the playstore on Android TV. The best is simply called TV Launcher and has a solid blue background. It's designed specifically for Android TV.

I've tried a few launchers and ended up sticking with Top TV Launcher 2 . I like being able to have custom icons, custom wallpaper and pin multiple apps to a single icon.
