I just bought a new tv, plugged in the mi box, and now audio cuts out in between sentences when characters talk.
It like cuts out the ambient noise. It’s very very annoying. It only happens on the Mi Box. This never happens when watching through antenna tv, or my asus chromebit.
Could this be a faulty hdmi cable? Or is it the newest update to the Mi Box?
I think I have the latest update and I haven't had this issue, although these kinds of issues might happen only to a portion of the users in the same version. Is it specific to a certain app or does it happen for everything played through it? I read a post where someone had a similar issue and it was solved by changing the type of audio output in settings. If that doesn't solve it I guess you can do a factory reset, it can be a pain but it would confirm whether it's a software or a hardware problem.
