I've found that Bluetooth in the Mi Box needs to be super close (put the headphones on top of the player) when pairing. Once connected you'll have an easier time pairing in the future. Might work, give it a try.

I have no problem parring my bludio hedsets. Bludio turbine 1 or my bludio Faith 2. I guess the new update helped alot with Bluetooth.
