I was using my shield today and scrolled to the bottom and noticed this new channel on my home screen, "Featured by Google Play", The icons are much larger than the standard channels and they also play a small video about the app that is highlighted. I don't know if this is a new feature or old but I've never seen it before maybe its Google A/B testing?
ive had it for a while - got it months ago, went away, came back. Prob a/b testing. u can turn it off in channel settings.
I just noticed that appear today.
I quite like it, made me install an app I'd not known about before. Hopefully it changes up more often than the other strips!
I've had that disabled forever, it's one of the three options for the play channel.
