So voice search works and the volume controls the Android TV volume like the shield remote?
Voice has never worked on the remote. There was a bug (feature?) were if the Shield Remote was also active then pushing the voice button on the Fire Remote would trigger voice, but the microphone on the Shield Remote is the one that would actually receive it.
I believe this was fixed (removed?) with 7.2 (or one of the follow-up minor releases).
But yeah, otherwise the remote is great!
Does anyone know if this works with other Android TV devices that are not the Shield (like for example a Mi Box or Mi Box S) and which buttons have proper functions assigned (for example, what does the three bars button do)?
Also works fine with the Mi Box. That said, voice search doesn't seem to work, but power, volume, etc all do.
