Yeah, I noticed that too. I am still bouncing between turning sound off and giving it another try. I like some audio cues when navigating between items, but absolutely hate the new "whoosh" sound.
At least you can still get the old clicking sound if you use "Pro Main" mode in Smart YouTube TV.
Isn’t it the sound apple TVs make when selecting something? Did they just lift they sound and port it to android tv?
Try smart YouTube tv. Uses the old sound and it blocks all ads.
I like the new sound much better.
I can't believe people don't disable the sounds in the app. That's always the first thing I do in the YouTube app when I setup a new box.
