Looking to upgrade to a smart tv and Im looking at a andriod tv option. Can you get xfinity streaming app for andriod tv and is there any issues with using it? Iv heard there might be an issue with logging into some channel options like HBO using comcast login???
Someone modded the regular Android app on XDA to work, but it doesn't work great. It doesn't scale to the TV well (UI gets cut off in parts), On Demand is supposedly quirky, but I rarely use On Demand, so not sure. You need a web browser installed to sign in, and you really need a mouse to navigate everything.

It's a legit app, nothing shady about it. It basically consolidates every network's live stream into 1 app. For example, if you want to live stream Discovery Channel from their own app or we browser (outside of Comcast's apps). You still use your Comcast login to gain access, but this 1 app kinda takes every individual station's app and combines it into 1, minus the on-demand stuff.
