Hi
I would like to know what is the best Android TV box that is the most well integrated with Google Home/ GA. I bought a mibox 4, very disappointed with the poor and glitchy communication with GA which works once every 50 times.
I am looking for a box that would flawlessly do the following via Google Assistant :
Basically like a Chromecast but with possibility to download apks haha
Any recommendations?
Google Assistant on Android TV sucks, even on Shield TV.
I've been frustrated with the poor integration of Google Home with my Shield.
They work together well enough for most Chromecast functions, but voice support using a Google home, even for playback control while using the Android TV apps is spotty.
As popular as Google Homes are, I think top notch integration with Android TV could be a big growth driver for the platform. They just need to reconcile the Chromecast capabilities with the ATV platform and apps to work more seamlessly.

Buy a Chromecast if you absolutely need 100% Chromecast functionality to work EVERY TIME .

And remember the Shield is the best supported Android TV platform out there.
There will always be cases where Android TV Chromecasting will not work as intended vs using actual Chromecast hardware.
So even with the shield is not compatible 100% with the Google Assistant ?
