Who says there will be a next one? The current one is good enough. We don't need a next one.

there is no need for a new one but if there was than they would need to update the CPU and the storage cause 16gb doesnt feel good

Nvidia is losing value in stock market and Android TV is not a big thing. So nothing new is gonna happen unless the market picks up. So nothing in 2019.

Didnt the original one have a MicroSD slot? Bring it back.

Id like to see Happauge work with nVidia and add digital tuner support, you add the antenna.

Faster CPU would only be useful if you were emulating Wii Games.

Maybe native SMB support for sharing out HDDs connected to the Shield?

All I want is a remote with reliable volume control. Tegra X2 or Xavier based would be a bonus.

I picked this thing up during the Best Buy black friday sale and it was worth the price. It's a powerful little device that does an amazing job with emulation of older video game systems. I agree that it's base storage memory is too low and it should have a base of at least 64gb . Having a microsd card would be nice to have back. Coming from using the 360/x1/ps4/ps3 controllers, the controller for this thing does take time to get use to.

The UI needs an overhaul. But to be honest, I think this might be seeing a major price drop in the near future either for something newer and more powerful or a discontinuation of the product line.

Like.....what more do you want from a hardware perspective....The only changes worth a damn can be done with software.
