Hello, need your help. I used to be able to hold the HOME button on the remote to get a list of running apps and I could then switch between them, or close them. After an update, this feature is no longer available.
Holding the HOME button takes me to alist of all installed apps and ther eis no simple way of closing them.
Is there a new shortcut? Or this is just how it is now with the new update?
Just got the update and came here looking for the same thing. From what I found it’s been removed.
Yeah I cant figure out. It's annoying cause to get netflix to work I usually reset the wired connection when booting and then close app and reopen it now I cant. Had to use keyboard
Same here, I've just updated my Sony A8F to the latest Android 8. Holding down the home, the Apps drawer came up. Something is wrong here.
The only way i have found is to hold the power button. The tv restarts and closing all the running apps. Its a pain.

I'm not sure about the Sony TVs but on the Nvidia Shield you double tap the home button. This works from the Android TV app.
