Better than MiBox?

I got a Mibox S and I like it but it's not very powerful and seems to stall and crash a bit. I knew this before purchasing that it wasnt going to be a powerhouse and I'll keep it for the other room. If I want an upgrade, what are my options? Is the nvidia shield really the only one worth going for? Or any others

The remove is Very important to me. I 100% want to be able to control the tv volume from it. Anything else it can do would be great. Do any have an "options" button to give you menu on youtube etc? Does the MiBox remote work with the shield, or Fire tv remote only?

Everything else is gonna be on par with the mi Box the only real upgrade is the shield

Mi Box is the next step down from the shield. So there's really nothing in between that and the shield at the moment.

I've had my Mi Box's (two of them) for over two years now and never experienced stalling or crashing. Then again I don't install a lot of apps on mine. Just the streaming services from the store.

Jetstream 4K is a better buy than the mibox but the specs are the same.
