Music App

Hi I have a largish collection of FLACs on my NAS. The directory is mounted on my Shield so it appears as a local directory to apps.

I'm looking for an AndroidTV Music app that:

  • plays local files
  • is usable with remote
  • supports FLAC
  • supports Playlist
  • supports Album Art.
  • lyrics would be a plus

Please do not suggest plex nor casting.

Kodi, but it's not great. There are music-focused developers on the Kodi team, and they've actually done a lot of great work in the last few versions to make the music library features more usable, but it will require a lot of manual set up and tweaking, at first.

Without Plex or casting, you're pretty much limited to other media center apps... so just Kodi.

And I don't think there's any app that does every feature you listed on any other platform. It's a pretty tall order.
