I just got a MI Box (MDZ-16-AB) but it comes branded with something called Telebee. Does anyone know what that is, if it's worse, and if/how I can remove it?

From a cursory bit of Googling, it looks like Telebee is a Korean IPTV service, and they use the Mibox as their converter box. As long as the Telebee components don't interfere with your use of the box, you're probably fine.
You might be able to flash an OEM version of the ROM onto the box, but I've always heard this is problematic on MiBoxes (specifically, that it can irrevocably destroy DRM keys that are needed for Netflix and other apps), so I wouldn't recommend it.
Just curious, what firmware version is it running?
Had one of these at some point, different box and boot screen, all else exactly the same, netflix, etc
I think it doesn't include Netflix and has a custom menu. And it appears it's still on 7.0.
Edit: I was wrong, seems mostly the same as international, except a few apps
