This has just started happening recently that whenever i play something on the box on YouTube it glitches and reboots and gets stuck on the boot animation...either it will get u into a bootloader type menu and ask u to reboot or factory reset saying that the data is corrupted or then u have to turn off the power to reset it...anyone else facing this ?

Happened to me yesterday too, exact same situation. Only once though, and after the bootloader thing it worked again.
This just happened to me. YouTube video crashed after I try to open YouTube again it didn't and turning off message popped up then the try again and factory reset options showed up. Try again worked and booted the mi box but I'm not comfortable with this just bought it two days ago
Interesting, it crashed on me yesterday as well, although only one time... I just unplugged it and plugged it again and its fine now

same here! sometimes with other apps, I notice a new animation when opening apps, really need a update asap!
Just happened to be on mibox 3s, the whole Android TV OS crashed. Bootloop at Google logo, have to replug the power line to turn it back on.

You could try smart YouTube app see if that works.
