My newly-upgraded TV (Sony A1E) is forcing me to use my mobile device keyboard for *any* text input.... then refusing to recognize any text input from either my Android phone and iPad. The TV shows an icon for the Android TV mobile app (see here ) instead of displaying any kind of on-screen keyboard at all. Then when I type on the phone/tablet, nothing happens on the TV.
What gives? I had that app on my phone, but even when I deleted it, the TV still insisted on text being inputted from an external device. I can't log into anything on the TV, which is obviously a problem. Thanks!
It forces me to use my phone too… And sometimes even this is not recognized for me as well (KD-FX8505)
