Compared to the Chinese model, SoC will surely be updated for a better codec support (VP9, etc), it will be upgraded to 1080p and have certified Android TV.
Tip! Don't buy a beamer from this company. It has verry..and i mean verry bad update policy and al there beamers have big problems and won't be fixed because there are no updates made by them. Also there are lots op people who have there beamer just a short time and then it won't work anymore. Build quality is verry bad after teardowns of there beamers.
I have a xgimi h1 and luckly my beamer still works, but the firmware and installed software are worst. Play services can't be updated..play store is faulty..netflix won't work with new version and don't play higher than 720p. And don't think that this will be updated as they say in there advertising or on there forums (always firmware updating). I had 1 update a year ago and will never get a new one because they only focus on the new beamers to sell and they let the faulty ones just with there problems without custumers service or firmware update or any other help!
Also the cumminity has Xgimi already abbanded, so don't think others are willing to help you with problems.
It just my advice..do what you want with it, but i told you so..is just a simple message later on for me ;-)
