So my Sony KD-55XE8505 updated to Oreo and it's all good. However, since then the VLC app asks me for a password when I try to access an SMB share on my local network. This happens each time I shut the TV and turn it on again. Previously it was only necessery after a complete restart of the TV. Anybody with a similar problem and a hint? Some kind of half-sleep mode setting?
the same thing happens to me, but i cant even sign in with the right password. other times, it'll let me in without. just seems very random atm.
