I am having a very strange problem with my philips 55pus6501/12.
The internet lately is acting strange. I have called my ISP provider who says that of the 1000mbps the cable can handle the tv is showing as only capable of receiving 100mbps.
I have tried everything regarding router, fiber box and have a cat6 cable. Whatever I try to stream lags and my download speed shows between 30 - 60 mbps and upload speed is around 550 mbps. They should be showing equal.
Does anyone know how to help?
that is correct, the lan connection on the Philips TV's is 100mbps. you can try achieving a higer speed using the Wifi 5G, but it won't be reliable.
not sure what you are trying to stream online, but if you're streaming high-bitrate bluray rips (the only streams which require more than 100mbps) from the internet, you're doing it wrong. anything less, and it's not the tv lan connection the problem here.
