Good iptv app wtih proper channel management

by vjhoming

Hi guys ,

I'm still looking to find a decent IPTV app for my mi box S.

The main feature lacking in all the app I've tried is some proper channel management . It's an amazing thing to have access to 2300 channels with an IPTV provider , but let's be honest we only use a maximum of 50.

Anybody found a good app that easily allows to only show some channels ? Especially hide adult content !

Smarters you can hide the folders you don't want to see (ie. Adult, MLS, other folders). We have all of our stuffcategorizes. Is it the greatest app, NO by any means but sure is one of the most popular.

I have used xtream editor in the past to make it as much like Cable-TV structure, takes a few hours but you can make it look really nice.... which worked for a week or two until the provider updated the links to the stream making 1/2 of the channels unusable.

Ideally there would be a provider that puts some passion into the organisation of channels, but seems every provider is just a free-for-all.

Check out r/TiviMate. You can hide individual groups within its settings, and it looks damn good while doing it.

Also, in a lot of IPTV apps (including TiviMate) you can favorite channels so that you don't have to scroll through categories.

I second TiviMate. Built specifically for Android TV, very active developer with improvements almost weekly. He has a sub discussions and suggestions.
